The relationship between a real estate agent and his or her client is a fundamental component of any transaction involving land. The client puts trust in the agent, who has a responsibility to make the client fully aware of agency law in general as well as the finer points of law specific to the state of California governing these transactions. It is essential that real estate agents make themselves very familiar with these laws in order to serve their clients to the best of their abilities and to avoid litigation.
This course covers a broad range of issues related to Agency Relationships & Duties in Brokerage to help the student learn ways to help clients through this sometimes complicated process. It includes the following lessons:
Agency Relationships in a Brokerage
Review of Duties
Required Disclosures and Forms
California Business and Professions Code
Other Agency Topics
